Marley Fields road surface.

Reported via desktop in the Surface cover category anonymously at 23:21, Tue 7 December 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 364543.

The whole road surface at the entrance and parts of Marley Fields are in a terrible state. This has been reported numerous times yet nothing is done. I reported this back in August and the update I had was: Roadworks to be done with 28 days of September 28th. Yet here we are December 7th and still no action. There was also a note attached to the lampost about 'Double Yellow Lines' been painted earlier in the year, again nothing is done. This is an accident waiting to happen as people park directly on the corner unseen when you leave the roundabout to enter Marley Fields, people double park here picking up their children from school. Why I pay for substandard lighting and road's is beyond belief.

This was your reply to my previous report:- "Thank you for submitting your Highways report. Maintenance work is planned for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of these works.

Works to be carried out within 28 days

Many thanks, Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
