Trees overhanging road fromo adjacent land

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 18:09, Mon 20 December 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 365005.

Overhanging trees are obstructing statutory signage of the railway levelcrossing. If one of these were to fall whilst road traffic is held pending a train traversing the crossing, onmerous problems would result

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
The railway signs are not sufficiently obstructed to warrant work at this time.
Those trees are not owned by the Council, I am trying to determine who manages them. Regardless, if one of those trees is a hazard to road users, I will have that hazard removed.

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
