Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 365060.

Your staff arrived today to repair a number of potholes. The standard of work was disgusting. they merely emptied some tarmac from a polybag and kicked it around with their boots. No preparation of the holes first or any attempt to compact or tamp down the material, these ' repairs ' are not going to last any time at all. If I had carried out my job to this standard I would of soon been fired. Doesn't anyone check the standard of work afterwards? In my opinion it is unacceptable.

    We have now inspected the defect and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor and inspect the road in line with our established service plan.

    our workforce attended again yesterday and compacted the temporary potholes.
