Missing street sign
Reported via mobile in the Signs category anonymously at 18:03, Thu 6 January 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 365487.
Hello,
Bloor homes have built a new build site which the main road is Tiger Moth Way. There are a row of three houses which are 9-15 which at the moment do not have a street sign. So as people drive along Tiger Moth they find number 7 and the next house is number 17 which confuses people.
To add to the issues there is a street sign showing Beverley gardens which the houses are situated behind.
A small road sign needs to be put in showing that homes 9-15 are along the small bit of road and that it is a private driveway. This will assist any emergency service attending the location along with postal workers.
It’s just slightly awkward and seems ridiculous to me that a sign hasn’t been installed but apparently this was in agreement with the council.
Happy to provide photographs if required. There is more than enough space to fit a road sign in without issue.
Kind regards Chris
