Queen street from victoria drive junc to high street jnc
Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 10:17, Sat 22 January 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 366203x.
This was reported on 16th april 2021 under 355002 - the hight street had been 'spray marked' up for resurfacing which included a 2m stretch into queen street. however these resurfacing works need to continue much further down queen street to the junc with victoria drive as there are at least 4 potholes and the raod surface is completely decayed and 'crazied' so more and more potholes will occur quickly, also the area surrounding the manhole cover is all breaking away leaving holes and ruts. the above report was 'closed' on 26/4/21 stating simply: 'it will be included in the 22-23 programme. thank you' Question 1 - what on earth is the '22-23 programme'? this statement makes ZERO sense to me or expalin what might be happening. Question 2 - ZERO work has been carried out here!?!.....since april 2021??? Question 3 - why was the high street and other sections around stotfold sprey marked up for resurfacing some 10 months ago yet NOTHING HAS HAPPENED SINCE!? why do i pay council tax??? the road surfaces are a disgrace?! i want to raise a complaint

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
