Exit of Albert Court

Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 14:17, Thursday 3 February 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 366757.

The road marking leaving Albert Court have faded to the point they are barely visible showing which way traffic should flow leaving Albert Court. This is a dangerous situation causing vehicles to turn onto King street in the wrong direction. This is not just limited to members of the public but also council vehicles and council contractors driving down King Street in the wrong direction. It does not help the situation of the direction sign opposite Albert Court junction is not working at night due to lighting not working, which has also been reported on this site. The lines have been fading a quite a period of time.
