At the end of Albion Street as it joins Princes Street

Reported via desktop in the Signs category anonymously at 14:43, Tue 15 February 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 367288.

As you drive up Albion Street towards Princes Street, the road goes left and right and both are Princes Street. The sign directly in front just says Princes Street and not the house numbers in each direction. I have seen many near accidents where people stop at this junction, not knowing which way to go for a particular house number in Princes St. If the sign showed the numbers it would avoid problems.

  • Street Name plates with house numbers are generally provided where the road layout in unusual in relation to the sequence off the numbered properties. This isn't the case at this location, so I'm afraid not something we would look to provide.

State changed to: No further action
