Traffic lights on woodside link A5505 not working

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 367843.

There is a pedestrian crossing on the woodside link A5505 and its not working, Several street lights are also out here and its causing danger to pedestrians due to poor visibility particularly at night and during the day kids use this to cross and vehicle speed along here.

  • Customer called today for an update, he is very disappointed that still the lights and crossing have not been repaired and area is in darkness. He advised that there was a near miss yesterday as his child attempted to cross the road. Email sent to Streetlighting Team and Highways Liaison.

    In response to the query about functionality of the traffic signals on Woodside Link. This site has experienced technical problems, which have proven complicated to resolve. Whilst we work to re-activate the permanent traffic signals, temporary versions have been installed at the location.
