Drain Blocked/Flooding
Reported via desktop in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 18:09, Tue 22 February 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 367983.
Our front garden was flooded (although the water had subsided by the time this photo was taken) and we are unable to exit our house without wearing wellingtons. Thick mud/debris has been left as the water subsided. I also had to move my car to stop it from being dented by the stones being thrown up in the water by passing cars.
I am very concerned that a larger flood could enter our house as our floor's are lower than the road. This event was the result of a 15 minute downpour on Sunday.
Extremely dangerous for drivers who are driving on the wrong side of the road on a sharp bend.

For the last 2 days the flooding is worse. It had flowed over the top of the sewer drain in my front garden. The water is deeper then curb height. There is a high risk of foul water. I cannot current receive visitors unless they wear welly.s. Please resolve immediately.

Customer called as from the report has benn informed that the problem will be inspected when it will rain again.
Customer said this is unacceptable as at the moment the water is there and it wasn't drained and easily can be see that the drain is blocked. The water is in resident garden and it is affecting it.Please this to be sorted as soon as possible.
