Lamppost 12 (outside 32/33 Dunstall Road) electrocuting dogs

Reported via mobile in the Street Lights category anonymously at 19:49, Saturday 5 March 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 368676.

My dog sniffed this lamppost whilst I was walking him and yelped after receiving an electric shock. Other residents have stated they have experienced the same in the last couple of days. It’s dangerous for dogs and as it’s on a route for school children, risks being dangerous if they were to touch the lamppost too.
