Green area to rear of house Nos 1 through 5 Avon Walk, on Shenley Hill Road

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 17:21, Thu 10 March 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 368943.

On 3rd March sub contract tree surgeons carried out limited work in removing one lower limb from a Hornbeam and approx 2m from part of the crown of one maple tree, out of 9 trees in this plot. if this intended as medium term maintenance (as the trees worked on were not damaged or diseased) then it has been inconsequential and largely ineffective, and requires a revisit please to complete the intended maintenance work to the remaining trees

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
In that area, we ordered 4 crown reductions, and 2 crown lifts to clear footway obstructions. The reductions may be hard to spot from the footways as it is a constricted area; this will be checked, and if we find that work hasn't been completed, we will arrange it.

    Many thanks,
