Chapel close and Grange road
Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 11:27, Tue 29 March 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 369787x.
The pavements, on both roads are very well used by people going to the Nisa shop and schoolchildren. I have lived here 34years and the pavements have never been refurbished except in odd patches of different materials. The pavements are very uneven and difficult to walk on without looking down all the time . About a fortnight ago yet another person fell smashing her glasses and badly bruising and cutting her face . Luckily a nearby builder brought her home to Chapel Close. These pavements have been unsafe for years.

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
