Whole pathway down the street
Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 13:32, Thu 31 March 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 369906.
Prior to the works being completed today this pathway was incredibly uneven with holes, loose tarmac, unlevel manhole covers and large potholes/erroded tarmac which made it very dangerous for small children (around the school back entrance), elderly residents of the road and to use pushchairs on. However BT are now installing fibre cables in the middle of the pathway today and the repair work they have done behind them has now increased the uneven path and has now caused a solid unlevel strip down the middle of the pathway.

Hi,
We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through Fix My Street.
Many thanks,
