Turning circle of Digby Road

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 370064.
My brand-new garden wall at No.17 has been knocked down by a vehicle turning carelessly. The previous wall was also hit by vehicles turning. Last summer my neighbour at No.19 had their garden wall knocked down by a vehicle. Please would you put up a barrier or bollards on the pavement to stop vehicles causing damage to residents property as they turn around.

While we empaphise with the situation in view of the frequency - unfortunately we are unable to install barriers or bollards on the carriageway itself on safety grounds, and there is insufficient room on the footway in this area for anything of that nature to be considered.
State changed to: No further action
