Double Yellow lines

Reported via Android in the Road Surface category anonymously at 17:35, Monday 4 April 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 370099.

The double yellow lines at the junction of Windmill Rd and Steppingley Rd are worn away, possibly from persistent parking, which has increased since they have faded. This is a danger for residents leaving their drive and obstructs their view and it is difficult to manoeuvre quickly in the road to avoid contact when vehicles enter Windmill from Steppingley Rd at speed. Windmill Road is an old Victorian, narrow road, with numerous parking issues, particularly at rush hour times. It is used as a "rat run" and can be dangerous.
