Just past the national speed limit sign, on the way out of potton towards sutton

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 09:19, Tue 26 April 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 370892x.

The road surface on the left side of the road is crumbling away. The white edging line has almost entirely gone meaning that it's difficult to see the edge of the road, but also there's basically a hole there now so if your car goes down it, it will do serious damage.

It's on a very skinny part of the road so if you've got an oncoming lorry you will be forced to go as far left and come off of the road as it currently is.

  • In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.

If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.

If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council
