Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371088x.
This household has a knee high stack of wood planks stored on their driveway since before christmas (for over 4 months). This wood overhangs more than halfway onto the pavement blocking it and causing obstruction. This is a trip hazard and a hazard that could cause other injury also for pedestrians. Wheelchair users and pushchairs cannot use the pavement at all and would be forced onto the grass (if this is even an option) which is usually also blocked by parked cars. In wet weather this grass is turned into another hazard as it incredibly slippy due to the household driving over it to get on to their drive. This household's car also does not fit on the driveway and overhangs onto the pavement providing further obstruction when present.

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
