Traffic light system not helping drivers

Reported via iOS in the Crossings and Beacons category anonymously at 20:18, Friday 6 May 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371223.

New road system not working very well. Cars are filtered going left but cars going straight on are stuck behind cars turning right. There is no filter for right turning cars so the traffic gets clogged up as people are waiting for cars making a right turn before driving straight over the lights. Cars are then cutting into the left lane to go straight on. During rush hour the traffic is very bad. They need to think about making the right turn filtered so cars can just make a right turn without holding up drivers that won’t to drive straight over.
