Large rooted tree
Reported via Android in the Trees category anonymously at 10:15, Mon 9 May 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371279x.
We have a large tree outside our house, that has roots lifting up the public path, and will soon be lifting up our drive, this has been seen to a few years back, but needs redoing before further damage is caused. We have a number of elderly residents in our street, that shuffle when walking, so this lift in the pavement is a hazard for them falling.

Thank you for your Highways report.
Footways in need of repair are dealt with by another team, please raise a specific report for this and select the pavement as the issue, not the tree. That team will 'ramp over' the root with fresh tarmac to solve the issue.
Many thanks,

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
