The trees and hedges from the roundabout off the A1 to the entrance into Ivel Park

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 09:57, Friday 13 May 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371454.

We have some bushy plants and some trees that are getting high and before long they will be blocking out the sunlight to our gardens meaning that algae and moss will start to grown on the paving in our back gardens making it slippy in damp weather and the winter months. The bushy plants have a fluffy seed pod which is causing issues with seedlings growing in the paving and raised beds and due to the volume of them my washing is getting cover in the seeds and we can’t leave our windows and patio doors open as the seeds blow into the rooms making a mess. I am all for nature but over the last 6 years this year has been the worst due the the size of the bushes and the number of fluffy seed pods they are now producing. The trees need a good cut back - we had a branch from one of the trees fall on the corner in the high winds last year which resulted in a late night emergency shredding machine operating after 10pm and the road being closed off from the A1. Please can you advise when someone will be able to look in to this.
