Service road to West Park Farm

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 12:20, Saturday 28 May 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 371980.

The trees and hedges are getting very overgrown in the entrance and first 50 metres into the service road. It is blocking the sight around the bend when you turn into the road from the A6 and then making it difficult to pass another car on the road as the hedges are over growing the road. Thank you

  • Hi I noticed that the hedge cutters were out on the A6 today and did not come down the service road to carry out any maintenance. This is very disappointing as our problem could have been sorted out in 10 minutes whilst your vehicles were on site. Please can you provide an update on this situation. Many thanks

  • I don't believe the hedge cutters/flails were CBC Highways - we wont prune hedges during bird nesting season. We'll assess this area and arrange pruning.
