Crossroads - new lane markings

Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 15:55, Monday 6 June 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372219.

Since the road markings have been changed so that the right hand lane is for straight ahead, not only does this cause issues when someone is turning right as you have to pull out to the left to get round them, but it is also causing delays and the queuing traffic is creating unnecessary pollution in the area as cars sit waiting to go across. The original road markings of left hand lane to go straight worked excellently, the change of road markings simply does not.
