Side of White Hart Pub, Station Rd, Biggleswade
Reported via mobile in the Signs category anonymously at 09:28, Tue 7 June 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372235x.
There are 3 20mph terminal signs, to the side of the White Hart pub, facing different directions. The 20mph zone does not start/end here, so these terminal signs should not be placed here. You can use repeater signs, but not terminal signs. It is giving drivers the wrong impression that the 20mph zone starts/ends here when it doesn't. Please remove these signs and replace with repeaters if necessary, you are not complying with TSM or TDRGD.

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
