A pedestrian crossing is vital

Reported via iOS in the Crossings category anonymously at 14:16, Tuesday 14 June 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372486.

This crossing is used daily by hundreds of families trying to walk or scoot their young children to the local nursery and Primary School in Rook tree lane. As a mother of two young children, we’ve had several near missed trying to cross to the Green en route to school, as heavy lorries and vehicles steam down Regent Strret. This is a four way crossing, and a pedestrian crossing needs to be installed as a bare minimum before there is loss of life.
