Reported via mobile in the Road markings and lining category by Frank Hird at 08:38, Tuesday 21 June 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 372712.

The road markings on the approach from Church Street need to be changed. The left lane is marked for left turn only. The right lane is marked to go straight ahead on to West Street or turn right on to High St South. This causes delay due to oncoming traffic as those turning right hold up those wishing to go straight on to West Street. This is also unsafe as waiting traffic cut into the left lane to go straight on to West Street. Please change the markings so that the left lane is for left turn or straight ahead and the right lane is for turning right. This has been present for a few months now and should fairly easy to fix.
