Junction of Church Road & Woburn Road, opposite Fir Tree Inn
Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 14:36, Thu 30 June 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 373192x.
This tree used to be cut/tidied/trimmed but has not been done for quite a few years, we are sure due to COVID restrictions etc. Would it be possible (after nesting season) for the tree to be cut & shaped, made smaller and look much more loved as before, that would be great! Also we're not sure if the roots are beginning to impact on the pavement at all - being a seeded tree & not planted on anyone's land it's not anybody's responsibility that we can tell. Would be good to check out at the same time?

Checking online it stated this was added to your Programme of Works on 1 August 2022. As it has still not been completed do you have any idea when this will be actioned as we appreciate this needs to be completed ahead of any nesting starting again in 2023.

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
