Highfields entrance way off Tyburn Lane
Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 20:19, Thu 30 June 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 373217.
The verge has become wild and overgrown onto the pavement. Vehicles park on the pavement further narrowing the pedestrian pavement. My daughter could not get her pushchair past and had to detour around the flatbed truck (a regular spot for the two vehicles in the photo). This is creating a hazard as it is also a blind bend. There is scope to complete clear the vegetation and create a wider pavement if laws permit, so residents can park on the pavement and pedestrians can pass safely. The vegetation opposite could also be cut back off the tarmac to clear the road to it's original width, thereby reducing the blind bend hazard.

Hi,
We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through Fix My Street.
Many thanks,
