URGENT - There is severe damage to the pavement area leading onto the road from our drive outside 1A Lime Grove. There is a significant drop from the road to the path, which has been getting worse over time. It is now so bad, that when we reverse our car out of our drive and onto the road via the path, it is causing damage to our vehicles because of the steep drop that the car has to bump up. It is also very dangerous for pedestrians. When it rains, this part of the road and path becomes flooded very easily and takes a long time to drain. Work is currently taking place on a nearby road (The Paddocks) but I've checked with the workmen and Lime Grove is not listed to have work done. It's really urgent this gets fixed as it's damaging our vehicles but is also a hazard.

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
