Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Our engineers have inspected and found a fault with the power supply which is owned and maintained by the electricity provider. We have requested that they investigate and make a repair (their target timescale is 28 days). We will continue to monitor this issue until it is resolved. Please contact us again after that time if the light is still out.

I reported that street light no 7 between 48 & 50 The Baulk wasn't working on 5th July 2022. On 14th July 2022 I was updated it was a power supply problem which should be sorted in 28 days. Nearly 4 months later and the light still doesn't work. When can we expect this to be rectified?

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
