Speed Bump Disturbance

Reported via desktop in the Crossings category anonymously at 12:35, Wednesday 13 July 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 373617.

Several Speed Bumps on Appenine Way which is on the side of Jupiter Drive, Orion Way, Gemini close, Hydrus and Phoenix Close, Speeding Vehicles and Large Vehicles are causing shock wave and vibrations when travelling over speed bumps. We need a CBC investigation into speed and the vibrations to our houses. This has become a nightmare to live with and is causing severe disruption to us whoes properties are nearby these speed bumps. Have reported to Town Councillors but no direct response from CBC to residents. Shock wave investigations need to be carried out and speed bump design should be investigated as they're not the same as on the opposite side of Appenine Way nor Mead Way - They are completely different. Our house shakes from the ground up when speeding traffic and any vehicle over the size of a small car light van. Heavy lorries and Vans are particuliarily bad.
