7 lamps out along Church St Clifton and Whiston Cresent out

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 373857.
This was reported months ago. Lights out since power cut on 27th April. Countless reports and calls. Two visits by Electical Utility companies wit traffic lights/ diggers etc etc. Still lamps are out nearly 3 months later. Who is responsible for following this up? Steve Langton Chair Clifton Parish Council.

Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Our engineers have inspected and found a fault with the power supply which is owned and maintained by the electricity provider. We have requested that they investigate and make a repair (their target timescale is 28 days). We will continue to monitor this issue until it is resolved. Please contact us again after that time if the light is still out.THIS HAS BEEN REPORTED TO UKPN ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY - THEY ARE TO DIG DOWN TO ISSUE

Despite endlessly reporting this via online, telephone and fox my street we still have these lights out. This has gone on since 27th April and CBC Highways simply say it.s due to 28 day lead times. Well it isn.t. May, June and July have passed and still none of the lights mentioned on Church St and Whiston Close. Nearly 4 months!

The agreement with the Utility company of 28 day service simply isn.t working. This took from April to September to resolve. Each occasion the contractor failed to resolve they simply waited another 28days plus to have another go. Crazy!
