Hello,
I really wanted to talk to you about an issue we have with a tree outside our premises that I know was raised issue quite some time ago. Chilli Pilates has 10 studios around Hertfordshire and Essex and after a year of negotiating we finally secured a location in the town in Biggleswade. We have invested significant money into the business and opened our doors at the beginning of May but I had raised and increasing concern with Isaac Lord the Biggleswade Place Shaping Manager that the tree outside out premises is swamping our business.
At this point the tree has taken natural light from us in our studio and the is hindering our business opportunities in this lovely location, it's become almost invisible behind the tree, especially as we committed to this location opposite the busy coffee shop. We also let the flat above the unit which is currently on the market but the high level branches are up against the building also swamp the properties living room window.
Sorry for the long story but I wanted to explain we are new business that getting on it's feet and visibility is paramount for us right now, especially with good weather and traffic in the town.
Therefore I request that the tree is cut back.
Please let me know if you need anything else from me to proceed.
Best wishes,
Emma

Hello, work has been discussed internally at CBC for a while now and we're hoping we can undertake some work to the trees within the market square this Winter. Will update this report when I have further info.
