Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Our engineers have inspected and found a fault with the power supply which is owned and maintained by the electricity provider. We have requested that they investigate and make a repair (their target timescale is 28 days). We will continue to monitor this issue until it is resolved. Please contact us again after that time if the light is still out.

Called street lighting team / Ren to find out when UK power will supply the electrical power. Now 4 months since the request was raised. No answer when I called .
Sent an email to Ren / street lighting team to please update the CRN if they are able to get info from UK power network , as to when they will provide the power or what is causing the hold up. Area is now very dark ---------

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
