Cycleway surface fire damaged across full width
Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 12:31, Tue 9 August 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 374500.
The cycleway surface has been severely damaged, presumably by a burnt-out vehicle, leaving sharp and metallic debris. It cannot be avoided because it is across the route to the dropped kerb onto the B530. The debris, easily able to damage a bicycle tyre and, if thrown up, a derailleur rear gear mechanism. is a danger to cyclists.
