Tall Tree, directly to the NE of the service building, Drove Road Cemetery, Drove Road, Biggleswade.

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 19:27, Tuesday 30 August 2022

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 375249.

The tall tree directly to the north east of the small stone utility building in the Drove Road cemetery is damaged and making some very worrying noises.

Ever since the strong winds in February this tree has started making some alarming creaking noises, the level and tone of noise has increased dramatically over the last week and we are fearful that the tree may deteriorate to such a degree that it or parts of it will break away and cause damage to our house and garden.

The noise has changed from infrequent 'creaking' to some very sharp 'cracking' of recent, so much so that it can be heard indoors with the windows and doors closed.

We're not certain who's responsibility this tree is, but I think it should at least be looked at by a professional to mitigate risk to our property and that of the neighbours.

I am willing to be contacted to assist with further information if required.
