This light has been out for nearly 2 YEARS and has been reported a few times. I has been looked at twice but nothing done. I appears there is no power getting to it so whoever looks at it just gives up and goes. It is very dark here in the winter and with shady deals going on in the street. For safety reasons, we adjacent residents, want this fixed by this autumn!
I never hear any reports about this issue so what do we have to do to get it resolved. Please do not ignore me again. I need an answer this time it has gone on long enough!

Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Our engineers have inspected and found a fault with the power supply which is owned and maintained by the electricity provider. We have requested that they investigate and make a repair (their target timescale is 28 days). We will continue to monitor this issue until it is resolved. Please contact us again after that time if the light is still out.

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
