Updates
-
Not fixed Council has come out and placed hazard tape on the pole which obviously will not stop the lamp post from falling, disappointing considering the risk it poses.

I am absolutely shocked at the way the council has allowed this streetlight to lean and just be taped over deeming it safe.

Still leaning over waiting to fall on someone I'm sorry but yellow, hazard tape does not reduce the chances of a falling streetlight, I will update some further images later today.

In 2022 you raised a FixMyStreet request to Central Bedfordshire. We are contacting you to notify you that your report has been closed from our system. We have recently begun our partnership with a new Highways contractor and as a result we need to close previous cases that were outstanding with the previous contractor, this is part of an ongoing administrative process.
If the issue is outstanding and you believe it to be an emergency, such as exposed electrical wires, please contact us on 0300 300 8049.
If you see issues on the highways network, please continue to report these directly through FixMyStreet.
Many thanks,
Central Bedfordshire CouncilState changed to: no further action
