Multiple large potholes
Reported via mobile in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:05, Wed 23 November 2022
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 378636.
There are numerous large potholes on the verge as well as the road surface breaking away where it meets the verge. Many of these have been marked with white paint, which has been there so long it is starting to fade. The road is unlit and without white lines or cats eyes for it entire length and many drivers are positioning their vehicles away from the verge to avoid the potholes which I have no doubt had the potential to cause damage to vehicles. This creates a dangerous situation, especially at night, of a head on collision. The road is extremely dangerous and should be properly repaired and not just filling the holes which is a temporary fix. White lines and cats eyes are also needed in this busy and fast stretch of road.

Thank you for your Highways report.
We have made safe the dangerous defects along Edworth Road, further work is planned her in the next two months. In the meantime we inspect this road once a month so any safety hazards will be picked up then and made safe.
Many thanks,
