I want to complaint about the speed of the cars in residential area. On 30 of Nov 22 I was crossing the road outside my house with my 2 yrs old boy and a car was far but he or she saw us crossing the road and increased the speed of the car. it was shocking.i didn't hv that much time to speed up my walking.i was scared and not able to understand the situation because of the car driver . he did not slow down the speed. that incident is unforgettable. I want the solution plz help. There is no road crossing or yellow light for pedistrian.
I'm afraid we can't introduce a pedestrian crossing due to one instance of dangerous driving.
Pedestrian crossings are costly to implement, and needs to be of a benefit that can be financially justified - that is an area of high footfall, on a desire line location, with a traffic flow that would make crossing the road without a pedestrian crossing potentially unsafe. These are not factors in general on The Chilterns.
State changed to: No further action
