Pavement west side of Hillside Road at junction with Mayfield Road
Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category by Nicholas Kotarski at 15:36, Tue 10 January 2023
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 381249.
The pavement is continually wet and muddy making it a serious slip hazard for pedestrians. This appears to be due to possible water leak from adjoining property and due to subsidence of tarmac in the area. It is further hazardous due to overgrown trees/shrubs next to the path making passage along pavement even more difficult.

Nothing has been done by the contractor yet. The path is still continuously muddy and slippy despite no rain lately.

Thank you for contacting us. This issue does not come under the responsibility of our Highways Department, however we have forwarded this report to be reallocated to another service within the council. Pleases pass to waste services to clear mud from the footways and carriageway
Many thanks,
