Every time we get heavy rain Lammas Way lower end floods(we are bottom of hill). The water also covers the paths making access to the children who use pathway between this estate and Poppy Drive estate impossible. If car is parked in this part of road one has to put on Wellington boots to get to car as water is ankle deep. I do not think the drains are adequate. Also there is always a wet area on path and road outside No 16 which causes constant slippery mud, slip and falls risk to path users, and with mud comes weeds along path and around water meter lid. I try and clear this on a regular basis. Anglian water have to pump out litres of water to access meter as was witnessed on 24th March 2023. My visitors always bring slimy mud into the house as have to walk through this to access my drive, even when no rain, which makes me think it may be due to spring water too. I do not think merely clearing drains is effective as problem has been occurring ever since I lived here, (since 2012). I feel there are not enough drains to deal with this water, particularly as there are natural springs in the area. I would be mode grateful if you can give this serious thought and attention at your earliest convenience.
