The 2 lay-bys on Ampthill Road between the Council offices roundabout and Cainhoe golf club.

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 10:37, Wed 24 May 2023

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 389575.

The whole of the cycle path from the roundabout at the top of Ampthill Road out of Shefford to where the cycle path turns 90 degrees right before Cainhoe has become overgrown with hanging tree branches and the very large weeds (and shrubs) to each side especially where the cycle path narrows for the lay-bys.I appreciate the road verges will be cut but it needs more. Thanks

  • Thank you for cutting the edges of the A507 cycle path. Unfortunately where the cycle path narrows alongside the 2 lay-bys the weeds/shrubs were not cut and it.s almost got to the stage now where you have to dismount your bike to get past especially when there.s a vehicle in the lay-by.
