Footpath is now impassable without stepping into the road. Someone is going to get killed here as the cars speed to fast along this section of road. This problem has been getting worse and worse over the previous weeks.. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated as we walk into the village two or three times a week. Thank you

  • I first reported this problem about a year ago. In April workmen arrived and started work and made a fantastic job clearing footpath from Pinfold Pond up to Ivy Lodge, which is now impassable. They uncovered some cables and stopped. Can you please advise me when the rest of this footpath will be cleared. Many Thanks Sue Moore

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
    An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)
