Customer would like to know when this will be fixed please. The alley way where the lamp is goes through to a park, this is very dark and dangerous for children, the park isnt particularly nice but with the dark alley makes it even more dangerous.. Customer would like an update as this has already gone on for weeks. Please update report ASAP.

Email sent from HLT:
Good morning James,
I have been requested to contact you to provide an update on the service request you have raised, reference number 395814, relating to a streetlight.
I have checked the request and can see inspection was completed recently. I have chased the Streetlighting Team and have requested for updates to be posted as to what the inspection found. I have also requested that this column is inspected again due to you advising that the streetlight is still not in lighting.
As soon as I have an update, I will of course provide this to you as soon as I have been informed. If I may request that you please bear with me whilst I obtain this info, that would be greatly appreciated. I hope this has helped somewhat.
Kind regards,
Darren Foley

Email received from resident:
Hi Darren,
Many thanks for the update.
Rather than wait for a second inspection, without having seen any results yet of the first inspection, can we just aim for it to be fixed (presumably its just a bulb change!) by end of tomorrow - Friday 24th November.
As that is 5.5 weeks since the report was made.
Many thanks,

Hi James,
Many thanks for your response.
Unfortunately, we would be unable to arrange inspection and repair by tomorrow as the column requires to be re-inspected to ascertain exactly what the issue is. Whilst I appreciate that it may seem like only a bulb needs changing, without a new inspection there is no way of ensuring that this will resolve the issue.
Please accept our apologies for the added delay and for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please be assured I will do all I can to have this column inspected as soon as possible.
Kind regards,

Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Our engineers have inspected and found a fault with the power supply which is owned and maintained by the electricity provider. We have requested that they investigate and make a repair (their target timescale is 28 days). We will continue to monitor this issue until it is resolved. Please contact us again after that time if the light is still out.

Resident has called me this morning to advise that suppliers attended and carried out works which meant the colum was working. However, as soon as the tarmac was put back in the light failed again. Can you please arrange for this column to be reinspected and arrange for any necessarry repairs to be carried out.

This resident has called me to advise that the provider attended and carried out repair works, but has further advised that once tarmac had been put back in over the cables, the light has failed again.
Can you please arrange for this column to be inspected again and raise any necessary works order to get this column back in lighting.
Thanks all,

Hi Renata,
Can I ask how you were incorrectly made aware this had been repaired following my 4th Jan report that it has not been.
And what do the following mean?
“LA” “Milestone”
