Pavement issue
Reported via iOS in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 19:40, Mon 23 October 2023
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 396053.
This evening 23rd October at 18:50 I was walking back from the local shop and twisted my ankle and fell.
As you can see from photo the pavement is in particularly bad condition and the lighting is not great either.
From the second photo upon getting home I have found that I have cut my knee open. Whilst I am lucky it’s only a cut, this could have been a lot worse in smashing my face or even broken something.
Please could this be resurfaced as I fee this may happen again to others and could be worse.

It.s been 3 weeks since I fell and reported the issue of pavements in shillington but have not received an update.
Will the pavements along hillfoot road be resurfaced as they are awful and will cause more harm to people.
