The edge of the road has eroded leaving a pothole, which at the widest point measures 1.98m from the centre of the roadway. The pothole is 8cm deep. My wife was driving down the road on Wednesday 26th Oct at about 8:30 a.m. and was forced to the side of the road by a large HGV heading in the opposite direction. The depth and sharp edge of the pothole damaged her front nearside tyre which then had to be replaced at a cost of £156.00.
