LU61HW, in front of 39 Radburn Court

Reported via desktop in the Crash barriers category anonymously at 20:45, Tue 14 November 2023

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 397047.

On the 13th of November, at around 12:35am a Milk & More delivery driver reversed into the bollard in our neighbourhood, damaging it. My neighbour saw it happening as the driver woke her with the loud music playing in the car. Please see the damage to the bollard, (council property), in the pictures attached. Milk & More provided me with their insurer details: NFU Mutual, Corporate Insurance Motor Claims, Policy Number: 003X8452051, email: CorporateInsuranceMotorNewClaims@nfumutual.co.uk Phone: 01789202789 I have raised the issue with them and they gave me a case number: 2023C1005467. The insurer said they would reach out to the council, as it is council property, but I also wanted to raise it with you so you are aware. This is the third time the bollard was hit and it prevented damage to the nearest property, so my neighbours are keen to have it back in good condition. Also, as it currently is, it is a tripping hazard for pedestrians. Can you please help us to restore it to a good condition? Thank you and kind regards, Residents
