Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 397295.

Since the murders that took place in November 2022 we as residents of the link have been unable to turn our cars or pass safely in this vulnerable area, where the road narrows. A large Memorial which most of the time is scruffy with dead flowers has been blotting the appearance of our street. The boys were not from this road and although we all empathise it has gone on too long. One resident has paid for a dropped curb and this cannot commence because of this structure. Please can this now be removed. These men have now been buried and have a place of rest to visit. This spot mentioned above is encouraging large motorbike meetings that are noisy day and night and encourage drug dealing and using. Making it very scary for all of us law abiding citizens.     We have now inspected the defect and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor and inspect the road in line with our established service plan.

    We have previously stated on other reports that we will not be moving the memorial at this time due to the sensitive nature of the anniversary of this tragic event.
    Please be aware that discussions with the families of the victims are being held about a permenent memorial location.
