Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 397431.

Reference number 395576. Your reply talks about contacting my insurance company for damages caused by the tree, as stated in my initial email there is no damage yet but the tree roots are heading for my house/footings this may well in the future cause problems the tree needs removal before this occurs it is not my tree it is on council land.

  • We are not able to remove any healthy trees for any potential future damage caused by roots, as we'd be removing a huge portion of our tree stock within the county, preemptively. There is no guarantee the roots will spread much further and/or cause any damage. We have information around roots/subsidence etc on our Policy which should be accessible online.

We do have some minor pruning works scheduled to this tree, however as of yet I can't provide a date for this work.

State changed to: No further action
