Barton Road B655, Pegsdon Hills, Bedfordshire
Reported via desktop in the Signs category anonymously at 20:06, Fri 26 January 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 400804.
There is no sign warning motorists of pedestrians crossing along this road near the bend. This is 1 of the access routes into Pegsdon Hills but there are currently no slowing traffic control measures. A couple of weeks ago, I visited with my dog, and was very alarmed to see a motorist overtaking at speed on the wrong side of the road. If anyone had been crossing at the time, they wouldn't have stood a chance. Please could you erect some pedestrian crossing warning signs as a matter of urgency. I apologise for the delay but initially reported it to Hertfordshire Council believing it to come under them.
